Birthday Boy and Benny: Prologue

Solve puzzles, play retro game systems like the Game Joy, fight simple yet funny and interactive battles, find hidden secrets (they are everywhere, and exploration is heavily rewarded), enjoy some chill music and vibe out to Birthday Boy and Benny's Prologue! The prologue - which could be considered a demo in a way - focuses on Birthday Boy before he's born, meeting everyone that will be important in his life, and avoiding the dangers along the way.

Birthday Boy and Benny is a story-rich game with light RPG elements that focuses on an unnamed boy who meets Benny, a Birthday Therapist who will throw a party for him every year on his birthday. Not everything is all cupcakes and sprinkles, however - the Witches of Warthog Hollow have a new leader, b.0.b, who wants to terrorize the whole world and feed off the miseries of everyone he can find. When the boy's Papa and his balloon dogs suddenly crash into the mountains, the little boy's life is changed forever, and when his mother becomes totally abusive to him, Benny takes him and runs away. But that won't stop his mother from looking for him...

The prologue should take about 2-3 hours to finish, depending on if you find the hidden battles and secret presents. I plan on having this game released next year. This is a laid-back game that doesn't take itself too seriously. I wanted to make a game that I had fun playing that reminded me of the best parts of Dragon Quest, Earthbound, and To the Moon, so if other people have fun playing it, I'd be so happy!
